Jalandhar August 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised Valedictory Ceremony of a five-day workshop on ‘Entrepreneurship’ organized jointly by ACFA’s ‘Entrepreneurship Development Cell’ and IIM, Calcutta. Mr. Gaurav Vishisht who has been awarded with Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award and Successful Youth Entrepreneurship Award, was present in this workshop as a Resource Person.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra while talking to Mr. Gaurav Vashisht said, “I am sure that through this workshop, students have developed a perspection towards entrepreneurship and learned the nuances of understanding market trends. This workshop will certainly help them to become successful entrepreneurs in the future and thus they will generate an opportunity of earning not only for themselves but others also.
In the workshop, Mr. Gaurav Vashisht covered various topics such as presenting idea before the investor to get the funds in a way that the investor does not refuse. He also shared detailed information about the demand of the consumers and how it is supposed to be marketed for the success of start up.
He also emphasized the vital role of teamwork in the success of any startup and rectifing flaws as quickly as possible.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated Ms Garima Arora ( Dean EDC), Mr. Ankit Goyal and Amandeep Thakur for the success of this five-day workshop and encouraged them to continue conducting workshops on in-trend topics in future also.
