While talking about the admissions, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that the college is offering a number of scholarships and concessions to the students. Sports persons are being admitted with special fee concessions.
Last year the college distributed scholarships of more than 1.00 crore. Continuing with the same practice, total freeship will be given to the students getting first ten board positions and securing 98% and above in Board Exams. Concession of Rs. 10,000/- will be given to the students achieving 95% to 97.9% in board exams. Concession of Rs. 8000/- will be given to students achieving 93% to 94.9%, Concession of Rs. 4000/- will be given to students achieving 90% to 92.9% in board exams, Concession of Rs. 2000/- will be given to students securing 88% to 89.9% in board exams.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen told that at the entry level of Post Graduate Courses, total freeship will be given to students securing Ist position in University in UG. There are various other concessions like Sister Concessions, Fatherless and Parentless. Needy students will also be provided with scholarships like Govt. of India Scholarship, Post Matric Scholarship, Sports Scholarships etc. The purpose of these scholarships is to motivate the students for higher studies.
