
Jalandhar August 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NSS Wing of Apeejay College of Fine Arts hoisted National Flag on the occasion of Independence Day 2023 under the campaign Meri Mati Mera Desh to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav from 9th – 15th August – an initiative taken by the National Service Scheme, Chandigarh; Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Government of India.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra, faculty members and students saluted their country by unfurling the tricolor national flag. The students were filled with enthusiasm and the campus decorated in tricolour had fillled the very air of the college with patriotism. Each individual present, immersed themselves in the ceremony by holding flags in their hands, upholding the significance and pride of the slogan ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Ghar Ghar Tiranga’ thus keeping up with the promise of making significant contribution in making this resolution a success.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views said that with the dedication, passion and dedication with which our students have celebrated the entire week of Independence, this ensures that they will become responsible citizens of the nation in future and fulfill their duties sincerely and contribute in the development of the country.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Simkee Dev, Dean, NSS Wing for successfully organizing these activities and motivated her to keep up with the good work.
