Jalandhar August 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Physiotheraphy of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar observed National Bone & Joint Day in collaboration with Punjab Othopaedic Association under the aegis of Indian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. R. R. Sagar (President, Punjab Orthopaedic Association and Head of Othopaedic Department at Srimann Hospital) addressed the august gathering and presented an informational talk on health awareness and also presented a demonstration on ‘Basic Life Support’ which is essential to save lives in case of emergencies.
Also, on this occasion, Dr. Navleen Kaur (Director NAT labs & Pathologist at Srimann hospital) presented a detalied lecture on the importance of good health. It is noteworthy that Dr. Vijay Pal Singh Sandhu (President, Jalandhar Othopaedic Society) was present who addressed the students and gave a lecture on bones and joints and how one can keep them strong throughout.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Neeraj Katyal, Dr. Nitika Gupta, Dr. Osheen, Dr. Gargi and Ms Prabhneet for successfully organizing the programme and motivated the students to practically implement the lessons learnt from the expert speakers and become good and responsible citizens and help the people in need.
