Jalandhar July 7 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar has always been kissing heights in the field of music. Many of its students have made their mark as eminent singers in Bollywood and Punjabi films today and this is because its faculty also constantly sharpen and hone their talents and skills. Recently, Dr. Vivek Verma of PG Department of Music Vocal has been selected as an Approved B High grade Artist in Indian Classical Music Vocal by the Central Audition Board (CAB) of Prasar Bharati All India Radio Shimla.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Sumit Singh of PG Department of Music Instrumental has also been selected by the Central Audition Board (CAB) of Prasar Bharati All India Radio Jalandhar as an approved B High grade artist in Indian Classical Music Instrumental (Sitar Vadan).
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated Dr. Vivek Verma & Dr. Sumit Singh and encouraged them to keep up with the good work and keep educating the students and thus, create more shining stars bearing the name of Apeejay.
