
Jalandhar April 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, organised farewell function “AU REVOIR’ 2023 for outgoing students. In this function, all students of 2nd year and final year, participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Principal, Dr. Neerja Dhingra presided as a Chief Guest. On this occasion, Dr. Dhingra guided the students with her kind words and uplifted their morale by saying that they worked hard in both curricular and extra curricular activities for their holistic development and they should continue working hard in future too. Furthermore, she told them that real life starts after college and she believes that students can scale great heights professionally.
Kreetina of M.A. English 4th semester read welcome speech for all the students and shared that they learnt a lot from their seniors in the college. On this occasion, Gagan, Harsifat Kaur, Shivam Chauhan, Jagjit, and Ansh entertained everyone with their melodious voices. Hiten, Palak and Suraj impressed everyone with their contemporary dance, while Ishita Mittal and Divjot Kaur tapped their feet on Bhangra. Navya Kaushal of B.Com. 6th semester expressed her feelings in her farewell speech that time spent in college are golden period of their lives and exposure they received in the college prepared them for future lives.

Based on results, Jasmine Sian (M.A. English 4th sem), Sarabjot Singh (B.Com. 4th sem), Jasmine Gill (B.Com. 4th sem), Tarun Arora (BBA 4th sem), Anubhav (B.Com. 4th sem), Anmol (BCA 4th sem), Kritika (M.A. Music Vocal 4th sem), Khushi Bansal (B.Com. 6th sem), and Navya were declared Miss Apeejay, Mr. Apeejay, Ms. Stylish, Mr. Style Icon, Ms. Charismatic, Mr. Eloquent, Best Catwalk, Ms. Charming and Best Ramp Walk, respectively.
Principal, Dr. Dhingra acknowledged the students by gifting them Sash and gifts. Pearl, Rajat, and Shivanshi left their mark with their wonderful performances as an anchors. Dr. Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Rimpi Aggarwal and Madam Garima Arora for successfully conducting the farewell function.
