Jalandhar November 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar participated in Lok Pardarshni organised in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on the occasion of 53rd Foundation Day of the University. It showcased many artifacts related to the heritage and culture. They showcased Phulkari, Baag, traditional pakhia, dariyan, Folk Instruments, Damroo, gramophone, radio and bronze utensils.

Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor, GNDU took the round of this exhibition and praised the efforts of the college.

This exhibition was set up at GNDU under the directions of Ms Simkee Dev, Dean NSS, Mr. Vishav Bandhu Verma (Department of Punjab History & Culture), Dr. Gagan Gambhir (Department of Design) and Ms. Anuradha ( Department of Punjabi). The NSS Volunteers also accompanied them on this occasion.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra appreciated the efforts of all the faculty members for successfully setting up the exhibition and inspiring the students to stay rooted to their culture.
