
Jalandhar February 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar swelled with pride when there three students – Kunj Arora, Tegbir Singh and Jaahnvi got National travel grant to visit much covetous Indian Art Fair 2023 to be held from 9th February to 12th February in Delhi.
The students here will attend art talks, performances and discussions along with visiting prestigious art galleries, which showcase the country’s prominent Art Work.
This is an initiative by Punjab Lalit Kala Academy which provides travel grant to students of BFA, MFA, BA with Fine Arts, MFA with Fine Arts, M. Phil in Fine Arts, University of Punjab, Art institutions to enhance their understanding of contemporary art practice among students by providing them creatively charged environment.
It is noteworthy that only 20 students from the nation have got this golden opportunity and 3 out of them are Apeejayites. These students will prepare a synopsis and photographic documentation and also an audio-visual presentation about their experiences of Art Fair.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the students and asked them to make the best of out of this opportunity. She also appreciated the faculty members of Department especially Mr. Anil Gupta, Head Department, Applied Art for guiding their students and bringing such incredible chance in their basket.
