
Jalandhar January 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The IT Forum of P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised 10th Inter school Tech Fest. 325 students of different 15 schools of Punjab participated in this fest where 20 types of competitions were organized – Business Idea Presentation, Play with Clay, Painting on the Spot, General Quiz Bonanza, Gaming, Picture Captioning, Poster Presentation, Photography, Gustakhi Maaf, Website Development, Programming Skills, Declamation, Poetical Recitation, Theme based Modelling, T shirt painting/Hand painting, Mobile App Idea Presentation, Rangoli, Cooking, Group Dance and RJ Hunt.
The Chief Guest of the day was Dr. Hardeep Singh, Professor, Department of Computer Science, GNDU and OSD, Vice Chancellor.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra warmly welcomed Dr. Hardeep Singh and said,” It is an honour for us to have you amongst us and it is a pleasure for the young brigade from different schools who will take inspiration from him and will be encouraged to give their best and keep their best foot forward.”
Addressing the students, she said that Apeejay has always been known for the art and its artist students who have earned name and fame nationally and internationally but now the college has made its name in other displinaries as well like Commerce, Computer Science, Design etc. She added the college always aims to provide holistic development and education to its students.
On this occasion, Ms. Rajni Kumar aquainted the students with the achievements and facilities of the college through a detailed PowerPoint Presentation.

The overall championship trophy was shared by Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar and Swami Sant Dass School. The runner up trophy was bagged MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar and second runner up was bagged by Lala Jagat Narayan DAV Model School, Jalandhar.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the winner students and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Roopali Sood, HOD, Computer Science, Dr. Jagmohan Mago, Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, Dr. Munish Gupta, Dr. Rekha, Ms. Pallavi Mehta and Dr. Manisha Sharma for successfully organising the entire event.
