Jalandhar March 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- To inculcate the values of self-respect, courage, tradition and in the memory of Shahed Bhagat Singh, Department of Student Welfare, CT Group of Institution south campus shahpur organized ‘Turban Tying’ Competition. More than 80 Participants from different departments and showcased their expertise in tying the turban in different way.
Turban Fame Pardeep Singh Gehal, Herpreet Singh were the judges. Participants from different department of ct group. Winners where gifted with the prize money of Rs 10,500 and Turbans to the students .
Managing Director Dr Manbir Singh said, said “Turban is considered to be a crown in the head of the wearer and represents pride, valour and values. The Turban is a significant part of Sikh religious ethos and gives a distinct identity to the wearer.”
On this occasion CT Group Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi , Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Deputy Director Department of Student Welfare Dr Arjan Singh were present.
