
Jalandhar August 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Multimedia of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, took its students on an edutainment event to the PVR cinema to watch and learn the skills of cinematography through a much-appreciated film – Oppenheimer. It provided an enriching experience to its students, offering a unique blend of historical learning and cinematic exploration.
The students gained a comprehensive understanding of the various elements that contribute to the creation of a cinematic masterpiece like – role of cinematography in capturing the essence of the story, the nuances of acting that bring characters to life, and the skillful manipulation of lighting to evoke emotions. These were the aspects highlighted during the screening.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra sharing her views said “Experiential learning is an integral part of educational approach at Apeejay. Through this visit, our students witnessed the magic that happens behind the scenes in the world of film making. We believe that such experiences enrich their academic pursuits and broaden their horizons.”
