
Jalandhar February 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized an Eye Check Up Camp in association with Akal Eye Hospital and Awaz Welfare Society Punjab. Dr. Shilpa Kaul, Mr. Naushad, Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Mr. Tribhuvan Kohli from Akal Eye Hospital Checked the eyes of more than 160 students and staff members. They told them about eye care and nutritious diet to be taken for the eyes. They advised to go for eye check up at regular intervals so that serious problems of eyes can be checked on time.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers and said that NSS always organizes such programmes for the welfare of the society. NSS incharge Dr. Veena Arora said that NSS is involved in activities of social welfare. The registration was done by NSS volunteers Pranjali and Mehak. On this occasion, Head of Punjabi Department Mrs. Navroop, Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Ms. Harmanu and Mr. Parminder Singh were also present.
