Jalandhar May 5 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- An International Webinar was organised by the History Association. The theme of the webinar was “Dulla Bhatti: A Mythical Character or a Real Hero ?” The keynote speaker was Dr. Mazhar Abbas, Department of History, from Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan. Mrs Kawaljit Kaur, co-convenor of the webinar, introduced the speaker.
Dr. Mazhar Abbas delivered an impressive lecture on the topic. He told that Dulla Bhatti is a historical figure who played an important role in the history of Punjab’s culture.He also showed PPT to explain the concept in detail. Delegates from Pakistan also joined the webinar. Dr Renu Bala, convenor of the webinar extended vote of thanks to the resources person and participants.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee and Principal Prof Dr Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts of the Department for successfully conducting the webinar.
