Jalandhar March 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Foundation Day of Arya Samaj was celebrated by Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar with full enthusiasm. On this occasion, students of Sanskrit Department members of Arya Yuvti Sabha and students of other departments took part in the ceremony and shared their views on Principles of Arya Samaj and their importance in present scenario. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen addressed the students and said that we should all bow our heads in front of great personalities of Arya Samaj.
HMV is continuously working for spreading the principles of Arya Samaj among young generation of the country. It will definitely give a positive and beautiful change to the society. She also inspired to adopt Vedas, Yoga and Pranayam in our day to day life. She paid tribute to the great writer of “Satyaprakash” and congratulated everybody on new Hindu year. 25 students shared their views.
In the evening, a yoga session for resident scholars was also organized. Dean Vedic Adhyayan Dr. Mamta also congratulated all on this occasion. Head of Sanskrit Department Dr. Meenu Talwar made the students understand the real meaning of “Swarajya” and “Swadesh”. She said that every woman should feel indebted to Arya Samaj. She also presented vote of thanks. Head of Hindi Department Dr. Jyoti Gogia and Hostel Wardens were also present there.
