Jalandhar June 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, the premier institute of North India has been bestowed with prestigious Education Excellence Women College of the year (2021-22) Award by Time Cyber Media. During the International Education Awards organized by Time Cyber Media, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen received the said award from the eminent cricketer Sh. Sunil Gavaskar in Mumbai. HMV has been awarded for its excellence in promoting women empowerment in the field of academics, sports, extra-curricular activities, state-of-art infrastructure and research. HMV has been selected from amongst hundreds of other institution for the coveted award.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the faculty and staff members and said that all this is possible because of guidance of DAV mentors and continuous efforts of faculty members. To mark the happy occasion celebrations were organized in the premises of HMV in which Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, Vice President DAV College Managing Committee and Chairman, Local Committee extended his felicitations to the Principal, faculty, staff and students of HMV. Poems were recited by Mrs. Navroop, Head PG Department of Punjabi, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Staff Secretary and songs were presented by Mrs. Saloni, Head Physics Department and Mrs. Gagandeep, Head Mathematics Department. Stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia. On this occasion Mr. Paramjit, Principal GNDDAV Public School, Bhikhiwind, all the faculty and staff members of HMV were present.
