KMVites participate in various activities with full Zeal & Enthusiasm
Jalandhar April 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated World Earth Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. The celebrations were organised by Department of Student Welfare, PG Department of English, PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Department of Environmental Science & NCC. During the celebrations, various activities such as rally, poster making, plant donation camp&installing of bird feeder in college campus were organised for the students.
The students participated in the rally & the whole ambience resounded with the slogans like Go Green, Plant Trees & Save the Earth. Students from different departments of the college participated in the rally with full zeal and enthusiasm. The students through their posters also gave a message of reducing pollution, improving air quality and also to improve surroundings by making the Mother Earth clean & green.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the students & faculty members for this unique initiative. She averred that it is very important that the society understands the importance of environment conservation. She averred that all the students should remain in connect with this type of activities in the future also so that more awareness could be generated for this cause. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of the whole organising committee for successfully organising the celebrations.
