
KMVites spread awareness about the significance of technology in the human life
Jalandhar May 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya and KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec School under the aegis of KMV’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) celebrated National Technology Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. On this occasion, various events such as E-collage making, Poster making and Workshop on Role of Innovation and Technology in Lifewere organized. The collegiate students (Humanities/Commerce/Sciences) participated in these events whole heartedly & prepared innovative e-collages and posters on the theme ‘Technological achievements of our country’.
After that a workshop on ‘Role of Innovation and Technology in Life’ was organized in ‘KMV’s Innovation Hub’, a lab where several handmade scientific instruments are displayed. Dr. Neetu Verma demonstrated to the students the usage and implementation of these equipments in everyday life. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that students must be motivated to take part in such endeavors as these kind of activities enhances their scientific aptitude.
Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Ms. Veena Deepak (Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School), Dr. Madhumeet (Dean, Student Welfare), Ms. Anand Prabha (Incharge, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School) and the whole collegiate staff for organizing such innovative and informative events.Dr. Suman Khurana (Head, PG Department of Computer Science and Application) was the judge for the e- collage making and poster making competition.
