Jalandhar July 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in a heartening show of empathy launched KMV Relief Drive for the flood affected people in Punjab. The drive was launched by Department of Social Outreach & Department of Student Welfare. Relief material containing various consumable items like rice, wheat, refined oil, sugar, tea, toothpaste, brush, combs and other important things for the flood victims were contributed by the college.
College teachers as well as students under the leadership of Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi collaborated together for this contribution. All the relief items were handed over to the district administration by the college so that the material could be provided to the victims at earliest.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi emphasized that in this time of crisis we should all understand our responsibilities and should stand together for the people who are facing major crises in Punjab. She further maintained that we should all join hands together in bringing hope & smiles back for Punjab flood hit areas. Madam Principal lauded the efforts done by Dr Monica Sharma, Dean, Social Outreach & Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare Department for launching the drive successfully.
