Jalandhar May 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) is fully committed to provide education as per the needs of 21st century to make its girl students global class citizens and develop their skills. Skill Hub is an initiative of National Skill Development Corporation, Government of India to skill the underprivileged students & KMV is also contributing much towards this cause by running two short term courses namely Self-employed tailor and Assistant Beauty therapist under the Skill Hub granted to KMV by Government of India.
As many as 160 students are enrolled under these two courses to get skilled. In order to encourage and appreciate the students studying in these courses, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi distributed Skill Hub t-shirts to these students. She averred that the need of the hour is to provide education to the students by developing their vocational skills so that they can excel in their respective fields & should be able to make a name for themselves by achieving great heights in life. Madam Principal the efforts of Dr. Gopi Sharma, Director DDU Kaushal Kendra, the faculty and the students for this great initiative.
