KMV Cadets fetch laurels
Jalandhar December 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always empower its students to develop their personality. In a new achievement, NCC Cadet of KMV Senior Under Officer Vajinder Kaur and Under Officer Shruti Singh brought laurels to KMV by attending 16 day straining at prestigious Super 30 SSB Coaching Capsule Campby renowned SSB Coaching Academy, Impact, Mohali. The 16 days training at SSB camp included coaching in Interview skills, Self Description, Group Planning Task, Group Story, Group Discussion, Group Obstacles, Situation Reaction Test, Word Association Test and General Awareness.
Lectures were also delivered on what SSB is actually all about& they were also told how to develop leadership traits, officer like qualities and evolve an impressive bearing. The highlight of the camp was a trial five day SSB procedure at the end of the coaching. Individual counseling was also done to ensure that the trainees cracked the national level competition at the first attempt. The remarkable thing was that the cadets were taught by Army Officers who had a decade of experience in conducting SSB interview in Army as GTO/ Interviewing Officer/ Psychologist.
Principal Prof Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such trainings are a vital part of holistic education at KMV and lauded the efforts of Department of NCC for working zealously to come up with a variety of opportunities and activities everyday so that girl cadets can emerge as the future leaders of the Nation.Commanding officer 2 Pb. (G) Bn. NCC Jalandhar Col. Narinder Toor congratulated the cadets for their excellent performance during the training camp.
