Students along with teachers carry Indian flags and raised patriotic slogans
Jalandhar August 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students, teachers and NCC cadets held a Tiranga rally as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence.The rally, led by Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi including teachers and students of the college walked on the Vidyalaya Marg. Participants of the rally carried Indian flags and also raised patriotic slogans. It was heartening to see how the public stood on sides to pay attention to what the KMVites had to say.
On this occasion, Prof. Dwivedi averred that the rally has undoubtedly strengthened the spirit of patriotism and nationalism among the students. She further maintained that our national flag instills a sense of patriotism, national pride and belongingness among the countrymen. The national unity is very important for the country, if the country remains Eik (one), then only will it be Shresth (best) as the feeling of nationalism has to be inculcated in the children from the family itself.
Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare& Dr Davinder for successfully organising the rally.
