Six Students Qualify National Graduate Physics Examination
Jalandhar August 12 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been at the fore front in imparting quality education to the students. Students are encouraged to participate in various national level competitions. Under the able guidance of dynamic Madam Principal Dr. Atima Sharma, National Graduate Physics Examination (NGPE) conducted by Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT)is carried out in the institution.
Students of B.Sc. of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar participated in NGPE and competed with the students from national repute institutions like Mirinda House (Delhi), St. Stefan College (Delhi), Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Punjab University, Chandigarh and various Indian Institute of Technology. KMV students named Ananya and Bishakha have qualified this national examination with above cut off merit while four students named Anamika, Inderpreet, Harjot and Haramanpreet qualified this national examination with top 10% of merit.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the achievers and also the exam co-ordinator Dr. Neetu Chopra for this outstanding success. She also inspired them to scale unprecedented heights in all their future endeavours. She averred that students at KMV are always encouraged to participate in various national as well as international level competitions. She further maintained that KMV will continue to provide all sorts of support to these achievers who continue to make the institute proud by their achievements.
