Jalandhar February 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) faculty member Mr. Virender Singh Channa, Assistant Professor, Post Graduate Department of Performing Artshas presented his brilliant talent of sitar playing internationally at the International music seminar organised at South Africa Indo Classical Academy, South Africa.
During this tour, Varinder Singh collected a lot of accolades in various cities of South Africa and Vietnam with his impressive sitar playing and raised the flag of Indian classical music abroad.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi while congratulating Mr. Virendra Singh on his special achievement averred that such international events provides a great platform to the Indian artists to enable the great classical music of India reach to every nook and corner of the world, and at the same time the experiences gained from these international forums will help the teachers to share the knowledge with their students in order to provide them best possible guidance in their respective fields.
