KMV’s NCC Cadets bring laurels in Combined Annual Training Camp 2022

Jalandhar August 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has an active NCC unit of 105 cadets. The cadets went in good strength to attend ten day annual training camp which is compulsory requirement for those who are to appear for B and C-certificate exam. Along with the training many competitions were also organised during the camp in which KMVites brought laurels to their institution.

In the Layout line area competition, KMV was awarded first prize, U/0 Shruti Singh got 2nd prize in firing competition, in the Guard of Honour competition KMV won 2nd prize & KMV cadets won second prize in Tug of War competition. Sgt. Shruti Kanwal and Sgt. Harvinder Kaur were selected for Independence Day Celebrations at Delhi. Sgt. Yashika Sharma has also been selected for Thal Sena Camp at Delhi.

S/UO Vajinder Kaur and U/O Shanti Singh were declared the best cadets for the camp. S/UO Vajinder Kaur was also awarded for being the camp senior. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the cadets on their brilliant achievement. She averred that KMV always motivate its students to participate in all kinds of activities in order to shape up their personality. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Lt. Seema Arora, Incharge NCC for guiding and mentoring the students.
