Jalandhar February 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Mr. Sandeep Singh, Head, Department of Punjabi of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar was interviewed on Southall UK’s Desi Radio for his book ‘Betarteeb’. Kulwant Dhillon, host of Southall UK Desi Radio, asked Mr. Sandeep Singh several questions about the process of composition. Mr. Sandeep Singh shared with him, “For last two decades, I have been writing poetry and it takes birth from my heart.”
Expressing his views on the protection of literature, Mr. Sandeep Singh said that it is very important for today’s young generation to connect with literature, only then it can be handed over into safe hands. He also asserted that reading skills are also must for writing skills. About preserving the rich Punjabi culture,he said that affinity and sharing of sorrows and joys in this culture can become timeless only when future generations imbibe its qualities in themselves.
