NCC Army Wing Cadet felicitated for participating in the Republic Day Parade

Jalandhar February 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College is constantly striving for the all-round development of the students. Students here are known for making special achievements in the fields of studies, sports, cultural, literary, research and NCC. Contributing to the achievements of the college, Anthony, a student of NCC Army Wing, participated in the parade leading Punjab on Gantantar Diwas in Delhi. Participating in the Republic Day Parade is a matter of pride for every NCC cadet.

Lyallpur Khalsa College is proud of the achievement that Anthony has continued the tradition of participation on Republic Day and Independence Day. This time, after participating in the 74th Republic Day, cadet Anthony was welcomed back by college principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur. Anthony is the student of B.A. Part III. Principal Jasreen Kaur wished the students a bright future. Giving information about the activities of NCC, he said that there are more than one lakh cadets in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh NCC directorates. Out of which 111 cadets were selected in different camps. The last selection camp was conducted at NCC Academy Ropar.

Principal Jasreen Kaur while explaining about cadet Anthony said that this student of ours also represented the college in the Independence Day parade held in Delhi on 15th August 2022. At present he is playing the role of an under officer in the NCC organization. Lyallpur Khalsa College is currently associated with 2nd Punjab NCC Battalion. He is the first student in the history of the college to participate in both Independence Day and Republic Day. Anthony is a multi-talented student. He participated in the cultural program of NCC cadets and the parade in the Path of Duty. NCC officer Dr. Karanbir Singh was also present on this occasion.
