
Jalandhar April 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A one day workshop on ‘Personal Branding‘ was organized by PG Department of Commerce of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar for the final year students of B.Com and BBA.
Dr. Ranjit Kaur and Ms. Anu Mehta from Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka, New Delhi were present as resource persons of this workshop.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra warmly welcomed them and said that it is a matter of great provilege for the students of our college that they will be able to strive for the development of their personality by understanding the nuances of an important subject like personal branding.

Highlighting the important points of personal branding, Dr. Ranjit Kaur and Ms. Anu Mehta told the students that they should authentically put about their education and experience gained in various fields on social media and one should use Linkedin more than Instagram because startups and international level companies are always trying to provide employment only through LinkedIn.
The details of the companies, clubs and NGOs one is associated with should also be provided on these sites.They added that if we take personal branding seriously then definitely one can get employment according to their competence and qualifications.
