Jalandhar July 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar commenced the auspicious academic session 2023-24. A holy havan was performed in keeping up with the age old tradition of our institution, a harbinger of Women education and empowerment. The ceremony was observed to invoke the blessings of the almighty. Together all prayed not only for a fruitful prosperous academic session ahead but also for world prosperity, health & peace through the spread of the light of knowledge.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar, Mrs. Manmeet Kaur (Incharge of the function), the diligent members of our faculty and students made offerings to the holy fire, after which the prasad was distributed. Principal also welcomed the new students on joining the institution and assured them of all help in the fulfillment of their dreams. She also averred that SD is always a forerunner in achieving new milestones & is successfully treading on the path of development.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal congratulated everyone on entering into a new phase of teaching and academics.
