Jalandhar March 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the Buddy programme launched by Punjab Government to curb the menace of drug abuse, PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar Conducted a Rally to spread awareness regarding Drug Abuse and its Effects on the Society. Almost fifty students participated enthusiastically in the rally. Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar inititated the rally. The students walked from college campus. They prepared pluck cards and posters on ill effects of drug abuse. The purpose of this activity was to generate awareness among students against drug abuse.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice – President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal of the college Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar encouraged all the students to keep participating in these kind of activities and motivated them to keep spreading awareness in the society. The worthy Principal also lauded the efforts of the faculty managing college Buddy Program.
