Jalandhar April 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Youth club of the college organized an Essay Writing Competition on the themes of Model G20 Initiative within the premises of the PCM S.D College for Women. The rationale was to make students aware about the global initiatives taken by the Government of India under its G-20 presidency. Students were also apprised of the ambitious, inclusive, decisive and action oriented policies of India to counter challenges of hunger, poverty and the climate change at both the national as well as global scale.
More than 30 students participated in the event and submitted their essays in Hindi, English and Punjabi languages respectively. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the participants and the Youth Club for successfully organising the various event Under Model G20. She said that this is a noble attempt to put the minds of young generation in right direction and helping them to explore the ways of being independent.
