Jalandhar August 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the instructions of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Government of India, the “Meri Maati Meera Desh” campaign has been launched by the NSS Unit of PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar. This initiative was designed to ignite the spirit of patriotism among the youth of our nation and inspire them to actively contribute to the development and betterment of our country.
The campaign features a series of diverse and engaging activities aimed at fostering a sense of unity, national pride and community engagement.
Various events such as Poetical Recitation, Tree Plantation Drive, Guest Lecture, Panch Pran Pledge, Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign were organized within the college premises to encourage students to participate and showcase their talents while celebrating the rich cultural heritage and values that define our nation.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the participants and the NSS Unit for successfully organising the various events Under ‘Meri Maati Meera Desh’.
She also commended the collaborative efforts of all the NSS program officers Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, Mrs. Manmeet Kaur, Mrs. Akwinder Kaur and Dr. Anju Bala for organizing the events.
