Jalandhar March 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Fashion Designing organized a Expert Session on “Achieving Problem-Solution Fit & Product Market Fit” as part of the Institution Innovation Cell. The webinar was held on the Zoom platform. Ms Muskaan Gupta, working as Fashion Designer in Bombay Store, Ludhiana was the resource person for the webinar. More than 50 students joined for the session.
The main objective of the program was to identify the importance of developing new, original or unexpected solutions with the primary purpose of being able to put themselves in the shoes of customers and developing a better understanding of customer needs. She also highlighted the significance of customer feedback which helps to identify their actual need and expectation from the product.
The webinar aimed to build entrepreneurship skills in students with special regard to clothing. Ms. Muskaan inspired the participants by highlighting various examples from the company which emphasized the importance of being flexible by a company in changing markets, identifying strong market demand, repurposing or reorganizing old ideas, meeting the needs of customers, and keeping an eye on the future.
President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice – President Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, activity coordinator, Institution Innovation Cell for organizing such an insightful session for the budding fashion entrepreneurs of the college.
