Jalandhar June 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Department of Commerce of PCM S.D Senior Secondary Collegiate School for Women, Jalandhar organized Poster Making Competition on management quote writing for 10+2 Commerce students and logo designing competition for 10+1 Commerce students. Around twenty one students of 10+2 and10+1 participated in the competition with full zeal. The main objective of this activity was to inculcate confidence and art of presentation among students.
The students presented their thoughts very clearly and also replied to the questions put forward by the judges very enthusiastically.In Management Quote Writing Competition, Nisha got first prize, Jasmine Kaur grabbed second prize and Himani bagged third prize from 10+2. Similarly, in Logo Designing Competition, Nandani and Simran achieved first prize , Manmeet got second prize and Tiya and Khushboo bagged third prize from 10+1. The Presiding judges for the competition were Mrs. Rajni Kapoor, Department of Commerce and Mrs. Divya Budhia, Department of Economies.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada and the honorable members of the Management Committee and the worthy Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the students for their avid participation. She also appreciated the efforts being made by the Department of Commerce for successfully organizing the event under the able direction of the incharge of the school Mrs. Sushma Sharma.
