Jalandhar November 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- To inculcate leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, Central Association in collaboration with Cultural Enlightenment Cell organised an Investiture Ceremony. Students were adorned with badges representing various acclaimed offices. This ceremony was held with a motto to instil in students, a sense of responsibility and duty. The celebrated badges encouraged them to incorporate discipline in their daily life and in bringing out and polishing their leadership skills.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar, pinned the badges to the attires of highly zealous students. In Central Association, Deepali of MBEIT Semester III was appointed as the Head Girl (PG), Parineeta of B.Sc CSc Semester V was made the Head Girl (UG). Jyotsna of MSc FD Semester I was made the Vice Head Girl (P.G) and Deepu Rana of BA.B.Ed Semester III was made the Vice Head Girl(UG). Kritika of BCA Semester V was elected as the Head Girl of the IT epartment and Akanksha of BCA Semester V was made the Vice Head Girl.
Apart from these, other twenty one Office Bearers also assumed office. Shivani of M.Com Semester III was chosen as the President of the Cultural Enlightenment Cell and Arshpreet of BA.B.Ed Semester VII was made the Vice President of the same cell. President Naresh Kumar Budhia Ji, other members of the managing committee and Principal lauded the students on their acquiring new roles and motivated them to perform duties attached with these offices to the best of their abilities.
