Jalandhar March 6 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar organized a Three Day Faculty Development Program on ‘Sofos’. It is a software that can be used in smartphones. Mr Dev Verma (Founder OBTO) and Jitendra Malhotra (Director OBTO, Delhi) were the speakers of the event.
The main objective of this FDP was to educate teachers, library staff and office workers about ‘Sofos’ from 4th March 2023 to 6th March 2023. Mr. Dev Varma elaborated the utility of the software to the employees and how important it is to the office staff, teachers, students and parents.
It is currently being used in schools. Mr. Jatinder Kumar explained in detail as to how a teacher can take attendance, send PDF’s and videos to students and also notify parents about the performance of students.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, Shri Raman Budhia, Dr. Kiran Arora, other members of the Managing Committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Parashar witnessed the event. Such activities initiated by the managing committee of the college are indeed commendable through which new information is imparted to the staff members which could be incorporated in their pedagogy particularly in concern with the use of such softwares.
