Jalandhar December 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. International Human Rights Day was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya by International Human Rights Commission. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen extended green welcome to the Chief Guest CJM Dr. Gagandeep Kaur. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen received Award of Appreciation for her Social Service from CJM Dr. Gagandeep and Mr. Amandeep Mittal, State President, IHRC.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that ladies like Dr. Gagandeep Kaur in legal profession act as an epitome of women empowerment. Dr. Ajay Sareen further added that HMV stands for dignity and justice for all. She also extended green greetings to Mr. Amandeep Mittal, State Director International Human Rights Commission and the legal team of the commission, Advocate Ram Chhabra, Advocate Amritpal Singh Bharaj, Advocate Gometi Bhagat, Advocate Lovepreet Kaur, Advocate Sutikshan, Advocate Mohammad and SHO Gurpreet Singh.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest CJM Dr. Gagandeep Kaur said that unless people are aware about their human rights they can’t protect their rights or seek redressal when it is violated. Sh. Mittal also addressed the august gathering and said that International Human Rights Commission keeps making people aware about their human rights. The International Human Rights Commission also honoured Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Meenu Talwar and students Tina, Ritika, Ms. Sakshi, Masarrat, Shaina, Rasneet.
