Jalandhar March 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- It puts HMV in exhilarating mood to celebrate the selection of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs Ajay Sareen as the Zonal Joint Secretary of North Zone AICP. Association of Indian College Principals is the first registered organization of College Principals at the national level which provides a pious platform to academicians, administrators and policy makers from all walks of education sector to facilitate things by providing a comprehensive communication channel.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen has been selected for the coveted position for being a women with a noble vision and a reflection of an empowered woman helping the entire gender to realise their goals.

She has initiated copious ventures in collaboration with District Administration, NGOs, MNCs, educational institutes which include starting Project Green Jalandhar, maintaining a green belt in front of the college, establishing the first food forest, installing waste paper recycling unit, teaching students of slum areas, adopting villages under UBA, providing free skill enhancement programmes, creating awareness for voting, promoting Indian culture by replacing convocation gowns with traditional Angvastras, launching Legal Literacy Cell, Cyber Law Cell, HMV On–campus Radio, HMV Mobile App and many more in the list.

She is also the youngest recipient of the Mahatma Hans Raj Best Principal Award, Principal par excellence award, Nadia Murad Woman Excellency Award, Iron Lady Award, Mahatma Gandhi Award for Noble Peace, Award of Extraordinary Leadership from Education World, along with numerous honours which vouchsafe her capabilities. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen expressed her gratitude towards the Almighty, DAV Managing Committee and AICP. She further expressed that she is committed heart and soul to the welfare of the society and nation.
