Jalandhar January 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NSS Unit of PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar organized a ‘Seven-Day Special Camp‘ in village Patara. Various activities were conducted, including awareness campaigns, yoga and meditation sessions, nail art, crafting beautiful items from waste materials and a speech on the use of brass and steel utensils instead of disposable items under the Swachh Bharat initiative. Eye check-up camps were also set up by doctors from Pal Hospital. Volunteers cleaned parks while planting trees in the village.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honorable members of the managing committee and the worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the NSS unit for this initiative. The event was coordinated by NSS Program Officers Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, Mrs. Manmeet Kaur, Mrs. Akvinder Kaur, Dr. Anju Bala, Miss Manpreet Kaur, Miss Shobha, Miss Rohini, Miss Ashna, Miss Pooja Singh, and Miss Mehak.
