Jalandhar February 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the able guidance and mentorship of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Saren, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalya, Jalandhar organized promotional event. The star cast of upcoming Punjabi Film “Golgappe Mr. Binoo Dhillon, Ms. Ihana Dhillon , Ms. Navneet Kaur Dhillon and their team visited the campus. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen honoured the guests with the planter and Phulkari. She gave them best wishes for their film and said that Punjabi Films always represent Punjabi Culture and Traditions.
Mr. Binnu Dhillon, who is known for his versatility and acting acumen, gave a brief introduction of the film that it depicted sweet and sour moments of life in humorous manner. The other main leads Ihana Dhillon and Navneet Kaur Dhillon felt elated by the energy and enthusiasm of the students. Mr. Rajit Bedi expressed his gratitude to Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen for organizing gala event. The event was immensely appreciated by the students as they felt enlivened and rejuvenated.
Dr. Anjana Bhatia conducted the stage of this vibrant afternoon. The overall incharges of the event were Mrs. Upma, Ms. Sukriti, Superintendents Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Mr. Lakhwinder Singh and Mr. Ravi Maini. On this occasion Mrs. Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare, Dr. Ashmeen, Coordinator IQAC, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Head Computer Science Department, Dr. Shallu Batra were also present and graced the event.
