Jalandhar August 17 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The students of Department of Multimedia of Semester 8th of Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar made their college proud by securing top positions in the final examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. Ira Jain scored 4004 marks out of 4300 and bagged the covetous first position in the university. Along with her, Yokta Jalota scored 3938 marks and Sukhman Singh Rai scored 3901marks out of 4300 and bagged third and fifth positions in University respectively.
Also, Rakshita, Gurleen Kaur, Diksha, Atul Malhotra and Sachin Sharma scored 3880, 3825, 3824, 3819, 3807 marks out of 4300 respectively and made the college and their parents proud of them by bagging 7th, 12th, 13th, 16th and 17th University positions respectively.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the students and their parents and wished them a bright future ahead and inspired them to continue on the path of hard work and always bring laurels to the college. She also appreciated the efforts of Mr. Varinder Sagoo, Head, Department of Multimedia and Mr. Ankit Goyal for guiding the students towards the road of success.
