Under this initiative of the community college, HMV is running Diploma in Nanny and Elderly Health Care which is approved by UGC and Ministry of Human Resource Development. 12 students successfully cleared the Sector Skill Exam and received certificates of the results. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated as our institution is first institution that got certification from Sector Skill Council. She apprised that practical training and industrial exposure are the key features of this Diploma. Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Coordinator Community College told that these skill based courses are very useful as there is increasing demand of child caregivers now a day. She informed that candidate of any age group with qualification of SSC-II pass can join diploma under Community College at nominal fee structure of Rs. 1000/- per month. The Sector Skill Certificate is recognized worldwide. As students can join as child caregiver, day care attendants as well as home care nurses.
