Jalandhar August 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Readers’ Club and English Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the dynamic guidance of Principal Prof Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen organized a captivating and enlightening session featuring accomplished writer and poet, Dr. Gurpartap Singh, who shared insights into his debut novel titled “When Dinkar Lost his Job and Found a Life.” Dr. Gurpartap Singh, currently a faculty member at Hindu College, Amritsar, is celebrated for his literary contributions and has graced prestigious events with his soul-stirring poetry.

Presenting the welcome note, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen remarked that writers shape the mind and touch the hearts through their words. The greatest stories are not only those found in books, but also those we create through our experiences, interactions, and aspirations. This interactive session is aimed at inspiring and learning about creative writing. The interactive session was arranged by Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda and marked by an insightful discussion on Dr. Gurpartap Singh’s maiden novel, which centers on the life journey of a young man named Dinkar.

The English Department was thrilled to welcome Dr. Gurpartap Singh. He was greeted with a planter and a painting by Mrs. Navroop, Dr. Mamta, HOD English and Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda. Dr.Gurpartap Singh eloquently shared the narrative and themes of his novel, offering attendees a glimpse into the creative process that brought the story to life. Additionally, he graced the audience with recitations of his renowned poems, captivating the listeners with his evocative verses that touch the heart and mind.
