Jalandhar August 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Anti Ragging Committee of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Anti Ragging Week in collaboration with Commerce Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. Under this week, a seminar on “Awareness of Cyber Crime and Cyber Society” was organized. Mr. Gullagong and Mrs. Urvashi Mishra were the Resource Persons. Mr. Gullagong explained various topics related to cyber crime, hacking, ransom wore, phishing, scams through visual and presentation. He cautioned the students and told them about various measures they should adopt to safeguard themselves from such cyber-crime.
Later the session was taken over by Mrs. Urvashi Mishra where she explained where she explained the numerous cyber laws and shared live cases with the students. A short video prepared by students of PG Department of MCVP on “AI Scam Alert” was also presented to the students. The aim of the seminar was to educate students about the importance of cyber security and how it can be used to protect sensitive data and information.

The stage was conducted by Ms. Kriti. During the Valedictory ceremony, the Chief Guest was Mrs. Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami. She told the students about “Awareness about Legal Rights Rights of Women.” Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed her and said that HMV is such an institution which promotes women rights. HMV is a ragging free institution and students are sensitized against ragging. She appreciated the efforts of Dean students welfare Mrs. Binoo Gupta for organizing anti ragging week. Mrs. Binoo Gupta thanked everyone.
The winners of various competitions were honoured. The judges of various competitions were also honoured. Stage was conducted by Dr. Meenu Talwar. On this occasion, Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Mrs. Shifali Kashyap were also present there.
