CM Bhagwant Mann should put to practice his own words spoken while in Opposition: MLA Chaudhary

CHANDIGARH March 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Phillaur MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary raised the issue of minimum support price for crops during Zero Hour in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha and asked the Aam Aadmi Party government to bring a bill to guarantee the MSP here on Monday.

Playing a video of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann asking for a law on the MSP for crops when the AAP was in the opposition, MLA Chaudhary said that in the Opposition, CM Mann used to make grand pronouncements, but even after two years of government, he had failed to actualize his own words.

The Phillaur MLA said the farmers of Punjab were asking the chief minister to put to practice his own words spoken while in the Opposition. He said the AAP MLAs used to stage walkouts from the Vidhan Sabha on the issue of MSP, but instead of fulfilling farmers’ legitimate demands now, CM Mann wastes his time on devising absurd schemes like locking the Opposition MLAs inside the House.

MLA Chaudhary demanded that the government should bring the law on MSP immediately and provide a legal guarantee of MSP to the farmers of Punjab.
